To The Fordham Prep lacrosse community, especially the current players and parents:

Thank you so much for your incredible generosity during the recent equipment drive that we held in conjunction with the John Jay game on Saturday, May 5th.  The amount of equipment that you donated was truly outstanding, probably even record-breaking, and was well beyond anyone's expectations (full inventory can be found below).  In fact, you did so well that we will be using the pictures and the inventory results to spur on other schools like Delbarton, Brunswick, St. Anthony's, etc. to pursue similar efforts in an attempt to top the Prep's haul.  CityLax and Bronx Lacrosse, the two beneficiary organizations, are really excited to receive the donated equipment which will be used to help give New York City students their first opportunity to play lacrosse.  Bronx lacrosse will be receiving their donation in person on June 9th when they join us at the Prep for a BBQ and clinic as part of our alumni game celebrations.
Keep up the good work and stay involved!  If you are available, please assist us next Saturday, June 9th, as we host a clinic for the Bronx Lacrosse middle school program at 2PM on Murphy field in advance of the FP alumni game at 3PM.  We will host Bx Lacrosse for a skills clinic and then they will join us for a BBQ and school tour once the alumni game ends around 4PM.  You do not need to be a Prep graduate to help with the clinic!  Any players or parents that are interested in helping are more than welcome.
If you cannot join us for the clinic on the 9th, but would like to get more involved with the Top Corner Club's different community service outreach initiatives; like CityLax's fall clinics held on Saturdaymornings in the fall and winter at Christopher Columbus High School, please follow up with Mark Powers '02 directly at (914) 224-7867 or fptopcornerclub@gmail.com.
