PROGRAM HISTORY

Fordham Preparatory School has a very proud tradition when it comes to lacrosse.  Started in 1989, Fordham Prep's program has always been one of the top lacrosse programs in the NYC Catholic High School League.  It was not until 1993 that the Rams won their first city championship and from 1993 to 2003, the Rams would roll and win an impressive 11 straight city championships.  Overall, Fordham Prep has won 16 city championships, the most recent coming in 2018.

In our historic 34 year existence, our players have achieved the highest awards in the CHSAA and in the United States.  Fordham Prep lacrosse has been awarded with 28 All-Americans.  Over the years, numerous players have gone and continued to play in college, including three who have won NCAA national championships.
