It was a back and forth game, 4 - 3 at the half and 6 - 6 at the end of regulation, before Jack Freel ‘23 (Manhattan) scored the game winner driving from behind the goal in the second overtime.
Read MoreThe inaugural NY Jesuit Lacrosse Classic this weekend was a great success as the Prep hosted the teams from Belen Jesuit (Miami, FL) and McQuaid Jesuit (Rochester, NY). The teams played against each other over the weekend and all three came together for a dinner at the Prep Saturday evening.

Over 100 lacrosse players, family, alumni, and alumni parents gathered to recapture the memories from previous years, look ahead to an exciting new season, and honor and induct former varsity Head Coach Len DeLucia P’09 into our Lacrosse Hall of Fame.

Read MoreThe rain fell all morning, but by the afternoon the clouds parted and we had dry weather and some sun for this year’s Alumni Game and Family BBQ. Over 25 alumni came back to the Prep to prove that they still got it out on the field, plus a handful of other alums and their families, as well as some current player parents, cheered from the sidelines.
Read MoreUnfortunately the Prep season came to an end with a loss to Stepinac in the CHSAA “AA” Semi-finals for the second year in a row. The Rams got first blood by scoring the opening goal but the Crusaders went on a run to take a 6 - 1 lead into the half.

Read MoreFordham started the week off with a tough loss to rival Iona Prep 18 - 6. The Rams rebounded in their next game by beating Byram Hills 13 - 7 in a back and forth one goal game until the fourth quarter when the Prep defense clamped down on the Bobcats.
